The Division of Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement (PAE) at the University of Pittsburgh builds meaningful relationships with donors, alumni, and stakeholders to advance the University's mission in education, research, and healthcare. We are seeking a Video Production Manager to join our Annual Programs team, reporting to the Director of Video Production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support video and photography operations across PAE.
- Collaborate on strategy and content development for visual media.
- Coordinate production logistics with vendors and internal clients.
- Manage project timelines and monitor production progress.
- Create and distribute tracking documents for departmental use.
- Oversee asset management and archival processes, ensuring brand compliance.
- Edit and produce content using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, scheduling, and feedback.
- Assist with all phases of video production: scripting, casting, location scouting, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Maintain organized archives of photo and video assets.

Job Summary
Assists with videography unit operations, produces videos, and adheres to branding guidelines and best practices. Collaborates on video content and strategy. Maintains project schedules, assists the Production team in monitoring production status, and generates and distributes departmental tracking documents. Oversees student workers in assignments and duties.
Essential Functions
- Manage relationships with vendors, including finalizing contracts, scheduling, and sharing feedback.
- Assist in the production of videos, specifically managing production schedules and project tracking, and tasks such as scripting, casting, location scouting, video capture, editing and post-production
- Oversee asset management and archival services of photography and video files.
Physical Effort
- Light - Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Travel to different parts of campus will be required, as well as occasionally visiting a Pitt/UPMC location off-campus.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Combination of On-Campus and Remote work as determined by the department.
Hiring Range: $60,000-$65,000 Annually
