Major Duties or Responsibilities:
Strategic oversight of the development, planning, and management of association’s membership initiatives including membership applications process, member retention and recruitment efforts. Develops regular reports on membership metrics and budget. May recommend/develop new member programs and services.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain accurate membership records
- Develop and implement a comprehensive membership growth and engagement strategy
- Create and execute membership marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members and stakeholders
- Track and report on membership growth, retention, and engagement metrics
- Represent NAWDP at various events and conferences
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in workforce development
- 5+ years of experience in membership or sales/marketing management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include presentation skills
- Proven track record of driving membership growth and engagement
- Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Demonstrated experience with information technology systems such as Microsoft Office 365, on-line email and marketing tools (i.e. Constant Contact), on-line survey tools (i.e. Survey Monkey), webinar platforms (i.e. Zoom), etc.
- Experience in managing data base information that requires quality control over demographic information; must be able to extract data, run reports, utilize Microsoft Excel, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to operate a computer
- Ability to operate and communicate via a smartphone
- Ability to lift 15-25lbs
Ability to travel independently and stay overnight when required. Overnight travel required for all NAWDP in-person events and up to 20 partner events (Approx. 75 days per year).
